Nobel Laureate John Mather and the beginning of the Univers at La Pedrera [NOT TRANSLATED]

The talk was addressed to a non-specialist audience and outlined the history of the universe from its early moments beginning from the Big Bang to its possible end. Prof. Mather engaged the attendees with illustrated examples from NASA, including measurements of the Big Bang, discoveries with the Hubble, and future telescopes like the James Webb Space Telescope (planned for 2018 launch) and beyond.
