You can now register for the 1st Annual DCA-NewSpace Community Conference

The NewSpace community of the Digital Catalonia Alliance (DCA-NewSpace) invites its members and collaborating organisations to its first annual conference, which will be held on 8 June, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB). The event is organised by the DCA and has the collaboration of the IEEC and ACCIÓ – Agència per la Competitivitat de l'Empresa.

During the first part of the conference, attendants will get an overview of the current DCA-NewSpace situation and the main strands of work of Catalonia's NewSpace Strategy. This part will feature Josep Colomé, director of the Area for the Promotion of the Catalan Space Sector at the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC).

The second part will focus on discussing public and private funding opportunities in the sector, with professionals from the public administration and the private sector. This part will also bring the opportunity to learn from some top companies, which will share their experiences. The round table focused on financing opportunities arising from the public sector will be moderated by Dani Sors, head of Services and Industrial Promotion at IEEC.

Finally, the meeting will end with a networking snack to promote synergies between members and partners of the DCA-NewSpace. There, everybody will have the chance to interact with the team of speakers participating in the conference.

The DCA-NewSpace community is supported by the IEEC, the Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya (ICGC), and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.
