The NewSpace community of the Digital Catalonia Alliance (DCA) invites its members to its annual conference, which will be held on Wednesday, June 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC).
During the day, the annual balance of the DCA-NewSpace Community will be made, the work lines of the NewSpace Strategy of Catalonia will be presented and the new members will be welcomed.
Irene Sánchez, representative of the European Commission, will address the entrepreneurship support programs. Then, the Spanish Space Agency will present the Scaleup program and, finally, the experience of Catalan startups in the sector will be shared.
The event will also include the celebration of the Demo Day within the framework of the NewSpace Catalonia Acceleration Programme, an initiative promoted by the IEEC and the Government of Catalonia with the collaboration of the aerospace accelerator company Starburst.
