LISA Pathfinder starts the scientific operations

From Tuesday March 1, the scientific team of the ESA mission LISA Pathfinder, which aims to test the technology that will detect gravitational waves in space, is located at the European Space Operations Centre of ESA in Darmstadt, Germany.
Members of LISA Pathfinder science team, including researchers from the Institute of Space Sciences (IEEC-CSIC), Miquel Nofrarias and Ferran Gibert
There, the scientists are working closely with the spacecraft engineers to run experiments on this outstanding physics laboratory in space.Every day, the scientists will analyse the results from the previous day’s experiments and plan the measurements to perform in the coming days.
