Ethics and integrity
The IEEC is committed to ensuring that its researchers have the best possible working conditions, a proper career development and transparent recruitment procedures based on merit and competence.

“HR Excellence in Research” award
The IEEC endorses the requirements and principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the ones of the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers and is committed to the Open, Transparent, Merit-based recruitment (OTM-R) principles promoted by the European Commission. The IEEC also follows the Equal Opportunities policies.
In 2018, our Institute was awarded the “HR Excellence in Research” seal. This recognition reflects the commitment of the IEEC to the continuous improvement of its human resources policies in line with the Charter & Code. The Institution works to ensure fair and transparent recruitment and appraisal procedures.
