How to get to the IEEC
The IEEC is located in the RDIT building of the Parc Mediterrani de la Tecnologia (PMT), within the Baix Llobregat Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Castelldefels (Barcelona).

How to get to the IEEC
The headquarters of the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC) is located in the RDIT building of the Mediterranean Technology Park (PMT), within the Baix Llobregat Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). The Campus is located in the town of Castelldefels, near Barcelona.
It is very well connected by public transportation, close to the Castelldefels Rodalies station and with several bus stops in the surrounding area. If you are travelling by car, there is a free parking zone outside the PMT, very close to the entrance of the RDIT building.
From Barcelona city centre
The most direct way to get to the IEEC is to take one of the L95 or X95 buses and get off at the Av. del Canal OlÃmpic – Accés C-32 stop (105699), which is right in front of the entrance to the PMT closest to the RDIT building.
Bus line X97 is also a good option from the Avinguda Diagonal area. You can take it to the Pl. Colom – NarcÃs Monturiol stop (106714) and walk 15 minutes to the PMT or make a transfer at the same stop to lines L95 or X95.
The R2 Rodalies de Catalunya line allows you to travel from Barcelona to Castelldefels by train. Once at Castelldefels Rodalies station, you can walk 15 minutes to the RDIT building.
From the airport
The PMT is about 10 minutes by taxi or private car from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport. From either terminal (T1 or T2), take the C-31 motorway to the Barcelona/Camà Ral/Pmt-Upc/Canal/Castelldefels Est exit (see indications).
Travellers can also use different bus and train combinations to reach the PMT from the airport.
Acces by private vehicle and parking
If you are travelling by private vehicle, the PMT has a free parking area for cars and motorbikes very close to the entrance of the RDIT building  (see location).
